MS in Information Applied science Management
I am considering applying to WGU for the MS in Data Applied science Management program once I graduate from UMPI side by side leap. I am earning my BLS with minors in Direction Data Systems and Projection Management. At this time, I am looking at going into project management. I don't have a ton of IT experience. Nigh of my feel is in building websites with shopping carts and academia. I plan on getting my CAPM and the PMP once I have the required project experience PMI requires. I was wondering if anyone has earned this caste and WGU and if they could requite me any insight into it. I've read the course descriptions, but was hoping for more info. The courses, for the most part, take IT in their name, but don't seem similar they're focused on any detail aspect of IT such every bit programming, databases, analytics, etc.

I did WGU'south MBA in It Management though I considered their MS ITM program. In fact I and went back and forth on which one I wanted to do for a while earlier settling on the MBA.
The MS ITM doesn't focus on whatsoever specific area of It since information technology is a management degree that focuses on management as it applies to working in an Information technology field. Think of it as a cross betwixt an IT generalist degree and a degree in direction/leadership.
If you're looking for something that focuses more on a specific subject field of Information technology, so you should look at their specialized IT degrees. I did start the MS ITM through WGU (just not where my 'professional passion' lies). Every bit Merlin said it is more than a management degree than hands on IT based. I have an AAS in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and have no desire to echo those courses for a MBA. Kind of how yous weren't interested in a MBA because of your bachelor's degree. I am currently looking at SNHU and Bellevue at their master's in project management.
